Lunch at my desk, as usual

Today’s lunch (so far) is a salad with grape tomatoes, red pepper, and cucumber with Kraft Free Ranch dressing. This is the prelude, I haven’t gotten to the real lunch yet, which will be bought outside.

No weight watchers tomorrow, we are starting up again next week. I could, of course go to another meeting.

3 Points Left

I’m doing good for today, I just need to brush my teeth and go to bed. Actually, I should power up the Wii and get off my butt.

The greatest weight loss total was back in May where I was down 17 lbs. we can see that I’ve gained about 8 pounds since May. This stops today.

Time to start getting real, again

I’m still out of control. My week starts on Wednesday, today is Saturday, and I now have 11 bonus points left to last me until Tuesday night. Every weigh in for the last 8 weeks I’ve weighed more than the week before. My last weigh in I was 8 pounds over goal. This has to stop.

Happy New Year. New Year – New Me

That’s pretty emphatic, isn’t it? New Year – New Me. I’ve been slipping badly in my weigh-ins, gaining about a pound a week. That’s going in the wrong direction. I don’t need to get hit by a 2 by 4 to understand that little factoid. Well now I’m 6 pounds over goal. I need to get those 6 pounds off by 1/18 because that will be my last weigh in for January.

Now that my pointsplus allowance is down to 26, it’s not easy. I am back to Walk it Out, so I will try to keep that up every day.

Have fallen off the WW wagon

I didn’t weigh in officially in September because I was over 2 pounds over my goal weight. This past Wednesday when I weighed in I was 1.6 pounds over my 2 pound limit. I had to pay. Is it time to start getting real and back on program? I think so because I really don’t like paying when I’m a lifetime member.

Even though I know I have to get my eating under control, I’ve still been eating like a pig since my bad weigh in on Wednesday. I promise, tomorrow I am going to get back on track. I need to clean, so at least I can count that as exercise. Maybe I will be distracted enough to not eat.

+0.6/-29.4 Must lose at least 1.6, but would like to get down to my goal weight.

HTML5 & CSS3

Okay, I’m a geek. I’m also a website designer and developer and I’m really excited about the world of features opening up with HTML5.

Last night I finished a lynda.com course on using Dreamweaver CS5 with HTML5. From embedding video and audio without external plugins to using CSS3 to make gradients, rounded corners and drop shadows. It’s a veritable designer’s paradise.

The only drawback is that not all browsers support all of the features of HTML5 and CSS3, but thankfully the code is backwards compatible.

Anyway, I’m happy. :-)

PointsPlus this weekend

I can’t count that high. Arrgghh. :-(

Went to see The Help on Saturday, followed by Double Blueberry Pancakes with Blueberry Compote at IHOP. This worked out to 21 PointsPlus. Today the feeding frenzy continued. I devoured half of a reasonably large bag of pistachios and continued the self-sabotage with a night of endless grazing. Not to mention no exercising.

Tomorrow I plan to get back on track. It may be too much too soon to have a decent weigh in this Wednesday.

Fruit salad is my best friend

Tonight, as last night, I cannot believe I still have points left. Two to be exact. It’s 9:00 pm. It’s really all the fruit that’s helping me to keep my points down to a reasonable amount. Here’s my dinner:

The real issue today is exercise. I was going to come home and do Wii Walk it Out. Never happened. What’s crazy is that it was gorgeous out tonight, but I couldn’t get myself outside and go for a walk. I did get off the bus about a half mile from home and walked the rest of the way.

It was a fruity day

It feels like I ate more than my PointsPlus tracker says. It’s 8:30 pm and I have 8 PointsPlus left. I’m sure I will figure out later that I’ve eaten those points.

Breakfast was a mixture of Multi-Grain Cheerios, Kashi Crisp, and Special K Blueberry (1 cup total), blueberries and strawberries, and 1% milk. 6 PointsPlus. Lunch was the piece of leftover fish from last night (5 PointsPlus).

Most of the day has been spent grazing. Fortunately, I stocked up on lots of fruits. I also had a bag of microwave popcorn, a Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle bar, fat-free cottage cheese & everything bagel thin. Grazing cost me a total of 9 PointsPlus.

Dinner, so far has consisted of 1/2 cup blueberries with Dannon Light n Fit yogurt.
